Close up. Supprisingly, in contradiction to the Khufu pyramid, there's nothing preventing you from climbing this one...(although I didn't try.)

"Very big, very old" (Camel owner, 1999 - quote from the Lonely Planet) This one hasn't any top layer left.

(Chephren pyramid) Personally, I prefer this pyramid over the Khufu one, although is a bit smaller (only 60cm or so). The white area on the top used to be part the smooth top layer, which covered the whole pyramid ones.
